TEACHER RECRUITMENT, TRAINING, AND RETENTION
We seek to hire talented and passionate individuals who wish to teach in Asia. We help bridge the gap between their home country and the host country to which they are assigned.
We assist our clients to find qualified teachers who meet their needs.
We recruit certified teachers from across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
We advise schools on best practices in attracting and retaining international teachers.
Our specialists in education law review existing teacher contracts and can provide advice on how to improve contractual agreements that will appeal to international teachers.
We provide up-to-date information on appropriate learning materials such as textbooks, student workbooks, teacher resources, library, music, and athletic equipment that meet our clients’ needs for effective learning.
Educan provides online training, demonstration classes, and training videos.
We are shipping agents for all major educational publishers and distributors of educational materials produced in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. We quickly and reliably send materials to locations throughout Asia.
We offer schools and agencies significant cost savings and full administrative follow-through from the time the order is placed to the time it arrives.
An order form template will be available on this website soon.
SCHOOL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
We review current school handbooks, policies, and procedures for students and parents, and make recommendations for revision.
We review school curricula for all grades to ensure consistency and compliance.
We conduct workshops for teachers on assessment and evaluation strategies.
We develop dynamic marketing strategies, including effective websites and digital media, that engage students, parents, and teachers.
INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION STANDARDS
Educan prepares overseas elementary and secondary schools for accreditation from recognized international accrediting organizations, including:
- The International Baccalaureate Program (www.ibo.org)
- Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (www.acswasc.org)
- Council of International Schools (www.cois.org)
We work with schools that wish to offer a curriculum that is recognized by a provincial ministry of education in Canada.
We assist schools in developing an Advanced Placement (AP) program. AP is a program in the United States and Canada created by the College Board which offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. American and Canadian colleges and universities may grant placement and course credit to students who obtain high scores on the examinations.
